Challenge Dr. Berg is a well-known YouTuber with over 10 million subscribers, and the total sales during the broadcast are massive, therefore I need to ensure that the server can function properly whenever we require it. Meanwhile, I need to sync orders and warehouse information from Magento to a specific CRM created with .NET and ensure that there are no bottlenecks that may hurt our sales during the broadcast. Convert the old system built by WordPress - OSCommerce to Magento and migrate large data. The solution includes: - Shopping site: built based on Magento and the front end by ReactJS. This site have ~200 products but the revenue ~ $500k/day, on flash sale day may be ~ $1.2 M. 2000 – 3000 CCU. - Mobile app: Flutter. - CRM: sync the products, orders, and customers from the Magento site . Our Achievement - Cut response time to less than 2 seconds - Increase revenue - Creating a development plan, data setup, and system structure for a new CRM using.NET. - Horizon auto-scale with RDS and modify Magento system to microservice with serverless middleware support. 3. Speedl.vn – eCommerce system for LotteMart For this client, we provide build a shopping site replace to the old site (lotte.vn). It helps the customer can buy everything from Lotte supermarket (Hà Noi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Vung Tau, Nha Trang, Phan Thiet, Can Tho). In this solution, we integrated with Grab API to deliver the order. Challenge At the end of 2019, Covid spearer throughout our country and people were isolated, unable to go out to buy daily use items or foods, so many customers switched to online marketplaces (SPEED L). Our system (SPEED L) cost was around $5000 per month at the time, but it couldn't handle the number of concurrent users that increased every day, so I advised my boss to move our system to the cloud (AWS). I setup a load balancer, CDN and a serverless system, which not only helped us solve the traffic problem but also reduced the system's monthly cost from $5000 to $2000.
